Warehouse Assistant

Located at our Ravenhall operation, we are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant who is committed, professional and reliable to join our team and will use these attributes to achieve CW Products goals.

Due to the nature of this role candidates will need to be fit and healthy, active and multi skilled to perform a broad range of duties and activities. Internal support and training will be provided where required.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the person we are seeking will possess the following attributes:

• You must have a current forklift licence

• You must be physically fit as manual handling and lifting stock is required

• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to understand and follow instructions

• Ability to communicate with customers and staff in a professional manner

• Neat and tidy personal presentation

• Reliable with a good work ethic

• Self motivated and work with minimal supervision

• Must be able to follow safe work instructions

• Have a positive 'can do' attitude

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Loading / unloading transport carriers, containers and company delivery vehicle

• Delivering customer orders using the company delivery vehicle

• Excellent organisational and strong communication skills.

• Customer focused, proactive and reliable

• Willing to be part of a small hard working team

• Attention to detail

• Picking and Packing orders

• General Warehouse/stores duties.

• Previous experience in a Warehouse environment essential

Qualifications:

• Hold a current forklift drivers licence

• Unrestricted manual car licence advantageous 

• MR truck licence advantageous 

• Previous experience in a similar role essential

Experience & Skills:

• Strong communication skills

• Customer focused, proactive and reliable

• Able to work within a team

• Flexibility – able to work in a cross-section of roles according to team needs

• Attention to detail is essential
