PMW Industries is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of civil, operational mining or resources contracting in the Pilbara.

This is a senior, site-based FIFO leadership role with full accountability for project delivery including all operations, contract compliance, financial performance, and a multidisciplinary site team. You will be the principal interface with our client on this contract.

What you’ll be doing:

• Serve as the primary interface with the client — managing the client relationship, KPI reporting, and full contract compliance.

• Own site safety — lead by example, drive a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance with all HSE requirements.

• Lead and support Site Superintendents to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production and availability targets.

• Manage all project assets — ensuring maintenance is completed on schedule, availability is maximised, and downtime is minimised to protect contract revenue.

• Lead all site personnel across delivery of the project — set clear expectations, build capability, and hold people accountable.

• Foster a positive, inclusive working culture across team and develop your direct reports as leaders.

• Manage the project budget — track costs against targets, approve expenditure within delegation, and drive cost efficiency.

• Provide regular, accurate reporting across all aspects of contract delivery — financial, labour, equipment, production, and WHS.

• Ensure all statutory, legislative, and contractual compliance obligations are met at all times.

 About you:

• 10+ years in operational mining, civil, or resources contracting, with at least 4 years in a site leadership role managing multidisciplinary teams.

• Proven experience project managing operational mining, civil, or resources contracting project to client KPIs.

• Demonstrated experience managing a contract budget and a direct client relationship with a major resources company.

• Strong experience leading remote and FIFO-based workforces and building positive team cultures.

• Excellent communication skills — direct and clear with your team, professional and credible with the client.

• Commercially astute — you understand margin, cost, and contract risk.

• A leader who develops people, not just manages tasks.

Essential Requirements

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screen

• Current Australian manual C Class Driver’s License

• Hold, or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance valid within 12 months

• Full Australian working rights

• Formal Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in project management or a related field

  • Frontline Supervisory qualification

  • Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor certification (Desirable)

  • First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training (Desirable)
