Project Manager - FIFO

We are currently recruiting for an experienced, proactive and safety conscious Project Manager for a short-term position on our current project based in the Pilbara.

Roster: 2:1
Location: FIFO from Perth
Hourly Rate: $125 per hour, Depending on Experience
Start – ASAP

Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of civil and building projects within the mining and infrastructure sector. This role will oversee project teams, subcontractors, budgets, and schedules to ensure works are completed to client expectations, safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all contractual, quality, safety, and environmental obligations.
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors on financial and contractual matters.
• Lead site-based teams and coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Foster a positive, safety-first culture aligned with Ironstone’s values and Indigenous engagement principles.
• Mentor emerging Indigenous staff and trainees as part of the company’s workforce development initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Champion our commitment to zero harm and sustainable construction practices.
• Ensure all projects comply with WHS, environmental, and quality management systems.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

  
Key Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a project management position within mining or similar environments.
• Proven track record delivering projects.
• Strong understanding of contract law, project controls, and procurement processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  
If you are successful for this position you will need to provide a current national police clearance and pass a full medical.
  
Must have full rights to work in Australia.
