About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microvellum Draftsperson to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality joinery projects. 

This position directly supports production and is ideal for someone who combines strong technical drafting and joinery skills with a practical understanding of manufacturing processes.

Please Note - this is an onsite position based at our central location in Beenleigh.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed joinery shop drawings and construction documentation using Microvellum

• Prepare CNC-ready files, cut lists, and material schedules

• Interpret architectural plans, specifications, and design documentation

• Work collaboratively with project managers, estimators, architects, builders, and manufacturing teams

• Resolve technical and design challenges while maintaining project timelines

• Coordinate documentation with site measurements and manufacturing requirements

• Contribute to the ongoing development and optimisation of Microvellum libraries and drafting processes

• Provide project reporting and status updates as required

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiencies
  

About You

• Minimum 2 years' experience working with Microvellum in a joinery or cabinetmaking environment

• Experience using AutoCAD alongside Microvellum

• Strong understanding of joinery construction methods, materials, and hardware

• Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications

• High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

You'll Stand Out If You Have

• Trade background in cabinetmaking or joinery

• Experience working on commercial joinery, fit-out, education, hospitality, or high-end residential projects

• The ability to work closely with manufacturing and workshop teams

• Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments
