About the role
Southern Cranes is looking for an organised and proactive Works Ready Coordinator to join our team in Pakenham.
We provide crane hire, pole erection and removal, hydrovac/NDD, excavation and specialist plant services across Victoria’s electrical, utilities, rail and civil industries.
The main focus of this role is to ensure upcoming jobs are properly planned and ready to go before our crews and equipment arrive onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Review upcoming works and ensure jobs are work ready.
Liaise with clients, supervisors and field crews.
Review job packs, plans, DBYD and site requirements.
Coordinate permits, traffic management, isolations and other requirements.
Identify access, service and site constraints before works commence.
Organise the required plant, equipment and resources.
Conduct site inspections where required.
Ensure crews have the correct information before attending site.

About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, practical and able to manage multiple jobs at once.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience in utilities, electrical infrastructure, civil construction or a similar industry.
Good planning and coordination skills.
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and crews.
An understanding of construction plans, DBYD and site documentation.
Good computer and administration skills.
A practical approach to problem solving.
Experience within the electrical distribution industry or working with utility contractors would be highly regarded.
