About the role

Scott Carson Landscapes is seeking a Landscape Labourer to join our team in Maroochydore, Queensland. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse landscaping projects throughout the region. As a Landscape Labourer, you will be instrumental in bringing outdoor spaces to life, working alongside our experienced team to deliver high-quality landscaping solutions to our clients. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys outdoor work, physical activity, and takes pride in creating beautiful gardens and landscapes.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of garden beds, lawns, and outdoor spaces

• Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively

• Digging, planting, and mulching to establish new garden areas

• Removing and disposing of garden waste, debris, and unwanted vegetation

• Assisting with the installation of hardscaping features such as pathways, edging, and retaining walls

• Performing general site tidying and cleanup at the end of each project

• Supporting senior landscapers and team members with more complex landscaping tasks

• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and meets client expectations

• Adhering to health and safety protocols on all job sites

What we're looking for

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions

• A genuine interest in gardening, landscaping, or outdoor work

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the landscaping industry

• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Basic understanding of health and safety practices on construction and landscaping sites

• A valid driver's licence is advantageous

• Experience with landscaping equipment and tools is preferred but not essential; training will be provided

Must have own car and license and construction safety card
