Casual Labourer – Landscaping Company

Location: Melbourne – North/Western Suburbs
Industry: Landscaping & Gardening
Employment: Casual/Vacation – Monday to Friday, full-time hours
Early Starts: 7:00am
Overtime: Available
Occasional Saturdays

Rose Landscape Services is an established, successful and growing landscape business based in Campbellfield. We undertake landscaping and garden maintenance across greater Melbourne, servicing commercial, industrial, retail, new estates, council and public spaces.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Casual Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit and takes pride in doing a job properly.

There is an opportunity for the right person to progress into a full-time position based on performance, reliability and attitude.

About the Role

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• General landscaping and labouring duties

• Turf preparation and laying

• Planting trees and shrubs

• Mulching and weeding

• Assist with installation of irrigation systems

• Using hand tools including shovels and rakes

• General rubbish collection and site clean-up

• Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment

• Assisting landscapers on various projects

• Preparing work areas and maintaining clean and safe worksites

• Following workplace health and safety procedures

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

• Previous landscaping, gardening or labouring experience highly regarded

• A willingness to learn new skills

• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual work

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Excellent reliability and punctuality

• An eye for detail and pride in your work

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• Current Driver’s Licence

• White Card

• High-Visibility Workwear

• Safety Boots

• Horticulture or Landscaping qualifications are advantageous

You must be reliable and willing to work Monday to Friday with 6:00am starts.
