Childcare Educators and ECTs

Play and Potential (PnP) Early Education Centre is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic educators (Both working towards or holding Cert III or Diploma) to join our vibrant team in Old Toongabbie. There are full-time and part-time opportunities for someone who is committed to providing exceptional care and education.

About the Role:

As a key member of ourteam, you will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. You'll build trusting relationships with children and their families, and collaborate closely with a supportive team to deliver a high-quality early learning program.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Implement a play-based curriculum that fosters children's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.

• Observe, document, and assess children's learning to plan meaningful and individualised experiences.

• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for all children.

• Build strong, positive partnerships with families and communicate openly about their child's day and progress.

• Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our centre.

• Maintain compliance with all regulations, including the National Quality Framework (NQF), and P&P policies.

What You Bring (Essential Criteria):

• A recognised qualification:

  • Working towards or holding a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, OR

  • Working towards or holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, OR

• Demonstrated experience in a childcare or early learning setting.

• A solid understanding of child development and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for connecting with children, families, and colleagues.

• A collaborative spirit and a positive, proactive attitude.

• Valid Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and current First Aid & CPR Certificate (including Asthma & Anaphylaxis training).

• All safety certificates including Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and First Aid & CPR Certificate must be current and valid at the time of application.
