Function Coordinator – Exciting Opportunity in a Leading Licensed Club

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Function Coordinator to join our team at Brothers Leagues Club Townsville. This is a hands-on role, responsible for managing and delivering high-quality events across our five function areas. From weddings and corporate conferences to private celebrations and meetings, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless event execution and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all function bookings, including client inquiries, quotations, and confirmations.

• Liaise closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to coordinate menus and catering requirements.

• Oversee the setup, execution, and pack-down of events, ensuring high service standards.

• Coordinate with internal departments, including bar, kitchen, and front-of-house teams, to deliver seamless events.

• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting clients throughout the event planning process.

• Ensure compliance with all licensing and RSA regulations.

• Work within budgets and manage event logistics efficiently.

• Maintain accurate records and reports on function performance.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in function coordination, hospitality, or event management.

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.

• A hands-on approach with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• RSA certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol) – mandatory.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.

• A passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.
