Civil Engineer

We have 13 offices across Victoria, New South Wales and NT with over 400 staff.

We currently have an exciting opportunity at our Malvern office for a Civil Engineer to join our high-performing infrastructure engineering design team working on a range of civil engineering design projects. This role would suit a talented engineer who is looking to take their career to the next level, with mentoring and guidance from industry professionals.

As an Engineer in this role you will:

• Contribute to the whole design process developing functional designs, detailed design, quantities, specifications, tender and construction documentation and design reports for arterial road duplication projects, major intersection upgrade and signalisation, road safety upgrades, car parks and sewer and water main upgrades.

• Provide specialised knowledge and input into designs at every design stage to ensure designs comply with appropriate standards, specifications and are "fit for purpose".

• Liaise directly with relevant stakeholders, including Councils, Department of Transport & Planning, local service authorities and subconsultants in a timely and efficient manner.

• Have the ability to work autonomously and in a team to deliver innovative designs and design solutions while work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all project stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil or relevant equivalent)

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of local design standards and statutory authority codes

• Proficient 12d and AutoCAD design skills. Working knowledge of MicroStation would be advantageous.
