Contour is growing fast, and growing up. Over 500 team members are building their careers with us, and ninety-plus Team Leaders, most of them leading for the very first time, are shaping the experience of every one of them. We are looking for a strategic partner and coach to own how every team member grows here, from the day they start through to the leader they might become. You will build our organisation-wide learning framework, own onboarding and career development for the whole team, and take full ownership of the Contour Leadership Academy, an established, running program, and take it to its next level: sharper, more embedded, and genuinely yours.

This is a newly created role for someone who gets genuinely fired up by being in the room with people, coaching them through the real stuff, who thinks as hard about a new starter's first week as a leader's hardest conversation, and who can take a program that already works and make it unmistakably better. • Contour TestPrep: Reshaping test preparation, starting with the selective entry exam, through rigorous tutoring, mock exams, and data-driven feedback to give students a decisive advantage.

• Partner with purpose → Sit alongside our Team Leaders as a genuine strategic partner on their people, performance, and culture, not a service desk.
• Coach every day → Coach Team Leaders through the real stuff, difficult conversations, team dynamics, first-time-leader nerves, and build their judgement, not their dependence.
• Grow every team member → Own onboarding, induction, and career pathways, so a real growth story at Contour isn’t reserved for people who become leaders.
• Own the Academy → Take full ownership of the Contour Leadership Academy, an established program, and elevate it: sharper content, deeper embedding, better outcomes.

• Own the framework → Lead Contour’s organisation-wide learning framework, onboarding through to cross-functional skills through to leadership capability.

• Bring the data → Use engagement and team fedback signals to know exactly where leadership needs support, and go be that support.

• Real experience as a strategic people partner: trusted by leaders, not just tolerated by them.
• Genuine coaching chops, and a real belief that developing others beats doing it for them.
• Broad L&D experience, onboarding, career pathways, capability programs, not a leadership-only background, with leadership as your genuine specialism.
• Real facilitation chops: you can hold a room, read it, and adjust on the fly.
• A working knowledge of adult learning principles, and the instinct to apply them, not just cite them.
• Predictive Index practitioner accreditation, or genuine enthusiasm to obtain it fast.
• The ambition to build and lead a team, not just fill a seat.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organisational Psychology, Education, or a related field desirable.
