About the role

Hive Active is seeking a skilled and compassionate Remedial Massage Therapist who loves helping people move better, recover faster, and feel their best. Based in Roseville NSW, you will deliver high-quality remedial massage treatments that promote healing, pain relief and overall well-being. What you'll be doing

• Conducting thorough client assessments and consultations to understand presenting symptoms, medical history and treatment goals

• Providing tailored remedial massage treatments using a range of techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy and myofascial release

• Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address musculoskeletal dysfunction and chronic pain conditions

• Maintaining detailed client records and progress notes in accordance with professional standards and privacy regulations

• Offering professional advice on postural awareness, stretching and self-care strategies to support client recovery

• Collaborating with other healthcare practitioners to ensure integrated and comprehensive client care

• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming treatment environment

• Adhering to professional codes of conduct and maintaining the highest standards of client confidentiality and safety

What we're looking for

• Recognised qualification in Remedial Massage (Diploma or higher from an accredited training provider)

• Current membership with an Australian massage association, with appropriate insurance and Health Fund provider recognition

• Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology relevant to remedial massage practice

• Demonstrated expertise in assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

• Professional approach to client confidentiality and data protection

• Current First Aid and CPR certification and Working With Children check

• Experience in delivering remedial, sports, pregnancy and relaxation massage in wellness clinics, sports facilities or healthcare settings

• Knowledge of business practices and client management systems is advantageous

• Skills in myofascial release and cupping highly regarded

• Right to work in Australia essential
