Remedial Massage Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Remedial Massage Therapist to join the team at WA Massage. This can be from a couple of shifts a week to an almost full-time position based in Cockburn Central, WA 6164. As a Remedial Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in our clinic by providing therapeutic massage treatments to clients seeking relief from muscular tension, injury recovery, and overall wellness. This role is central to delivering the high-quality, personalised care that defines our practice and helps us build lasting relationships with our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform remedial massage treatments using a variety of techniques tailored to individual client needs and conditions

• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming treatment environment

• Uphold all health and safety standards, infection control protocols, and professional ethical guidelines

• Manage client bookings and scheduling efficiently to optimise clinic operations

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Remedial Massage Therapy from a recognised training institution or equivalent experience

• Current registration with an association to obtain health fund provider numbers

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology relevant to therapeutic massage practice

• Proficiency in a range of massage techniques, including relaxation, deep tissue, remedial massage

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

• A genuine commitment to client wellbeing and a patient, empathetic approach to care

• Professional responsibility and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

• Additional qualifications in cupping, dry needling, pregnancy massage, hot stones etc are desired
