Maintenance & Mechanical Fitter Opportunities | Multiple Roles Available

Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, or Service Technician looking for your next challenge? We are currently seeking skilled and motivated trade professionals to fill multiple positions across different specialized environments in Sydney.

• Plant Maintenance Fitters: Focus on routine inspections, mechanical overhauls, precise component fitting, and minimizing downtime on automated and heavy manufacturing production machinery.
• Service Technicians / Mechanical Fitters: Focus on workshop-based assembly, disassembly, diagnostic fault-finding, hydraulic/motor repairs, and test procedures for specialized machinery and attachments.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, machinery inspections, and rapid breakdown repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
• Diagnose, fault-find, and service mechanical systems, hydraulic circuits, motors, and precision equipment.
• Assemble, fit, and test components according to technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications.
• Operate precision machining tools, hand tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
• Complete all job-related paperwork accurately, including service reports and timesheets.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, production teams, and workshop managers to maintain high safety and quality standards.

• Trade Qualification: Relevant Australian Mechanical Fitting trade certificate (or equivalent experience).
• Technical Skills: Proven experience reading blueprints/drawings, fault-finding, and working with mechanical/hydraulic systems.
• Licences & Tickets: Valid Driver's Licence and Forklift (LF) ticket essential. High Risk tickets (Working at Heights, EWP) are highly regarded.
• Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, reliability, and a solid commitment to workplace safety.
• Industry Experience: Background in heavy manufacturing, concrete products, earth moving machinery, or mobile attachments is an advantage, but all experienced fitters are encouraged to apply.
