Team Leader (Social Worker Lvl 4, Senior Psychologist) - IPARVAN Referral Management and Early Response (RMER) Service - Temp FT

Selection Criteria 

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

• A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia or eligible for same with completion of a four-year sequence of accredited undergraduate study in the discipline of psychology (or equivalent completed overseas) and been employed on year 9 on the psychology scale for at least 1 year.

• High level of understanding of; Child Protection, the Children and Young Peoples Care and Protection Act and issues related to children, young people and adults affected by violence, abuse, and neglect.

• Demonstrated advanced knowledge and extensive experience in providing case management, crisis and counselling interventions, and psychosocial assessments to victims of violence, abuse and neglect.

• Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
