Due to growth within our business, we are on the lookout Family Lawyers with a minimum 2 years PAE to highly experienced professionals, to join our team in our Toowoomba office. Working closely with our team of experienced family lawyers and support staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services to clients across all areas of family law, including domestic and family violence law and child protection.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join one of Queensland’s largest family law firms and to work with a diverse group of highly skilled and experienced family lawyers and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our legal team, you will come with your current practicing certificate and be responsible for:

• Provide advice and representation in family law matters, including parenting disputes, property settlements, and divorce

• Manage a varied caseload with a strong focus on achieving practical, client-focused outcomes

• Build and maintain trusted client relationships through clear, compassionate communication

• Draft high-quality legal documents, including court materials, agreements, and correspondence

• Appear in court and liaise effectively with counsel, mediators, and other professionals

• Contribute to a collaborative team environment while supporting business development and ongoing professional growth

Who You Are:

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. To be successful for this position you will:

• Be consistent, structured, and responsive – you take pride in what you do, and you do it well.

• Have proven post admission experience as a family lawyer, minimum 2 years, and a current Queensland Law Society practicing certificate.

• Have a desire to nurture and provide support to clients, demonstrated by your ability to communicate effectively and sensitively to provide a sense of reassurance and confidence.

• Possess a collaborative and innovative attitude and demonstrate initiative in all that you do.
