Medical Receptionist

We’re looking for a reliable, energetic and professional Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team at a busy multidisciplinary GP and Allied Health practice in the Campbelltown area.

As a key member of our reception team, you’ll be responsible for creating a positive experience for every patient from the moment they walk through the door or call the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and providing warm, professional service

• Managing phone enquiries and appointments

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of reception

• Maintaining accurate patient information and records

• Liaising professionally with doctors, Allied Health professionals and patients

• Multitasking and prioritising effectively in a busy clinical environment

• Providing reception cover when required, including during team members’ leave

Flexibility is important, as you may occasionally be required to adjust your availability to provide additional reception cover.

We’re looking for someone who is more than just experienced — we want someone who cares about people and takes pride in doing a great job.

You will ideally have:

• Previous medical reception experience

• Excellent computer and administrative skills

• A warm, professional and confident telephone manner

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to multitask, prioritise and use initiative

• A calm and organised approach in a busy environment

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic

• A genuine commitment to providing exceptional patient care
