We are seeking a passionate and dedicated FULL TIME (3 year old class) Kindergarten Teacher to join our professional and supportive team.

About the role

As our 3-year-old Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a key role in providing a high-quality kindergarten program that supports children's learning, development, wellbeing and school readiness. The class is capped at 22 children per day with always 2 staff present.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an engaging, play-based kindergarten program

• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families

• Observe, document and assess children's learning and development

• Plan experiences based on children's interests, strengths, abilities and individual needs

• Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development

• Embed literacy, numeracy, STEM, sustainability and creative learning opportunities

• Incorporate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives respectfully throughout the curriculum

• Work collaboratively with educators, families and relevant professionals

• Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement practices

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and service requirements

Essential Requirements

• Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification.

• Current FULL VIT registration or eligibility for registration.

• Current Working with Children Check. (If you have one)

• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.

• Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and National Quality Framework.

• Demonstrated commitment to the Victorian Child Safe Standards.

• Completed Foundation Mandatory Reporting Certificate
