Processing Labourers

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity for meat process workers/labourers currently exists at our Scone plant. The hourly rate is $26.99 as per the Scone Enterprise Agreement 2023. This is a 5-day operation with around 580 employees. Located about 283kms north of Sydney, 150kms north of Newcastle. JBS Scone is a well-known Meat Processing Facility.

We are seeking passionate, energetic individuals who are committed to safety, productivity and are after a long-term career in the meat industry.

Entry level responsibilities:

• Packing or sorting of meat

• Stacking cartons onto pallets

• Moving products

• Knife skills

Possibility of upskilling:

• Knife work

• Bandsaw

• Operating of machinery / forklift driving

About you:

• Ability to work in a repetitive and fast paced environment

• Willing to undergo Q Fever Vaccination, or have completed Q Fever Vaccination

• Reliable and punctual

• Must have full working rights

• Own reliable transport to and from work

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Residing in the local area will be highly regarded
