Wedding and Events Coordinator

  Purpose As our Wedding & Events Coordinator, you will collaborate with department managers playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and stress-free execution of weddings and various events. Your primary aim is to assist clients in planning, organising, and executing their special occasions with precision and ease.   Primary Responsibilities Coordinating the entire process, from initial meet and greets to site inspections and managing contractors Establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders and clients to ensure smooth delivery of events All administrative elements of events such as preparation of event orders, run sheets, payment and account settlement Address any issues or unexpected challenges that may arise during the planning and execution of events Develop a marketing plan in relation to weddings and active campaign including attending any trade shows or fairs as required Connect with clients in the lead up to, during and following their wedding or event Collaborating with various internal departments to guarantee a smooth event experience   Skills and Experience Prior experience in a comparable role, ideally with a background in orchestrating weddings and events Proven dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring memorable guest experiences Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (essential)  Experience with specialist wedding & events PMS platforms (desired) Highly organised with outstanding attention to detail and well developed verbal and written communication skills  The ability to work across weekdays as well as when required weekends, public holidays and evenings
