About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dedicated culinary team. You will play a key role in upholding our high standards in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen management, while bringing fresh and creative ideas to enhance our dynamic menu.

Key responsibilities

• Design and update menus using seasonal and fresh ingredients
• Prepare dishes that meet quality and presentation standards
• Ensure smooth daily kitchen operations
• Manage food costs and minimise waste while maintaining quality
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
• Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff
• Schedule staff shifts and ensure coverage during busy times
• Taste-test dishes to ensure consistency and excellence
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely procurement of ingredients
• Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative ideas to enhance the menu and dining experience

About you

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a chef
• Certificate IV in Commercial cookery or a related field is preferred
• Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is highly desirable
