Casual Academic Talent Pool - ADA - Education

The School of Education is seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals for a range of casual teaching opportunities in 2026 courses.

About the role 

• Effective development, delivery, and assessment of allocated undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching duties. 

• Preparing teaching materials, delivering lectures, seminars and/ or tutorials, and assessing student learning. 

• Working as a member of a team to ensure the consistent implementation of discipline-specific curriculum and pedagogy units in the School. 

• Effective contribution to the collaborative teaching culture of the School and Faculty.

• Effective engagement with broader educational community. 

• Compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and care to ensure that actions or omissions do not negatively impact on health and safety. 

 You will need:

• A postgraduate degree in Education at the level above that of the position you are submitting your EOI. (demonstration of equivalent experience will also be considered).

• Demonstrated potential to teach undergraduate or postgraduate Initial Teacher Education or Masters level students.

• Demonstrated capacity to interact successfully with the broader education community.

• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.

In addition to this, if you are submitting an EOI for a Method teaching position you must have:

• A NESA-accredited secondary teaching qualification. 

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Australian education systems and successful teaching experience in the method area in NSW secondary schools.
