Your new role awaits…

We are seeking an experienced Merchandise Planner to join our high-performing and collaborative team, based in our Brisbane head office.

As a commercially minded and driven individual, you will play a vital role in the team, enabling the department and your categories to achieve set sales plans and overall gross profit.

Reporting to the Planning Manager and partnering closely with our Buying and Allocation teams your ability to build key relationships as well as effectively influence and solve problems will play an important part in your day-to-day and support your success in this fast-paced and hands-on role.

Primary responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with buyers to develop buying plans which support business growth strategies

• Manage the planning and re-forecasting of your portfolio categories

• OTB Management, continually identify & develop opportunities for achieving financial objectives.

• Managing Stock Levels and deciding when to place replenishment orders or take markdown action

• Provide the wider business with weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to drive data-driven decisions

• Assist with quarterly royalty submissions with our brand partners

• Identify gaps and opportunities in the market to maximise sales

This role is based at our Store Support Centre (Head Office) in Eagle Farm, Brisbane, Queensland. 

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous merchandise planning experience (3+ years preferred)

• Experience managing OTB and WSSI

• Strong Excel Skills 

• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with multiple teams.

• A proactive problem-solver mindset that thrives in a fast-paced retail environment
