Client Business Partner

The Client Business Partner will foster strong client partnerships to help extend the reach and impact of CHOICE Recommended.

About you

You are seeking a role to contribute to positive consumer outcomes through generating commercial revenue for a not for profit organisation. Your primary role is in securing and growing commercial licensing and partnerships, enabling organisations to make more consumer-focused, informed decisions.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client base including, prospective, existing clients.
• A sales instinct and drive for performance, meeting, owning and exceeding sales targets.
• Retention and renewal discipline, exhibiting proactive management of renewal cycles, risk identification and negotiation to secure ongoing commitments.
• A commitment to the value of face-to-face connection with both clients and colleagues
• An appreciation and engagement with our testing and review teams and processes that underpin our data and licensing opportunities.
• An alignment with our need to protect an independent and trusted brand carefully while also challenging for revenue growth. This requires a demonstrated history of building long term trust with commercial or industry partners over commercial gain.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will work closely with Business Development, Testing, Consumer Impact and Marketing teams and external client partnerships to personally build and scale commercial revenue.

You will also:

• Capture timely and accurate reporting on sales pipeline, including forecasts and performance metrics including the utilisation of CRM to track the entire sales and contract renewal cycle.
• Conduct bi-annual Business Reviews with key brand clients, government partners and our existing partnerships to identify and pilot new opportunities to renew or extend revenue streams.
• Work in collaboration with internal CHOICE teams to understand the best way to commercialise new categories up for review, investigations, historical testing data, research insights and corporate licensing and develop the corresponding sales plans.
