Settlements Officer

Join Leaselab and play a key role in ensuring every novated lease is settled accurately, compliantly and on time.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Settlements Officer to manage the final stages of our novated lease transactions.

You’ll review contracts and supporting documents, resolve discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams, dealerships, employers and financiers to keep settlements moving. Your accuracy and follow-through will help reduce financial risk while delivering a smooth experience for our customers.

• Review customer, employer, dealership and financier documentation for accuracy and completeness

• Confirm documents have been signed by the correct parties

• Cross-check finance amounts, commissions, fees, lease payments and residual values

• Verify vehicle, customer, financier, GST and invoice details

• Coordinate settlement dates with Business Development Managers and purchasing team members

• Identify and resolve missing information or documentation discrepancies

• Liaise with Financiers to facilitate settlement and fund disbursement

• Maintain accurate deal records and progress deals through HubSpot

• Ensure regulatory requirements and internal policies are met before contracts are activated

• Maintain and regularly review settlement procedures and process documentation

• Contribute to improvements that make settlements faster, more accurate and easier to manage

• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with financial information

• Excellent organisation and time-management skills

• The ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines

• Clear, professional communication skills

• A methodical approach to checking contracts and supporting documents

• Confidence identifying discrepancies and following them through to resolution

• A collaborative approach when working with sales, administration and external partners

• Comfortable learning and using CRM and finance systems

Experience in novated leasing or vehicle finance is highly regarded!
