About the role
Liberator Australia is excited to announce an opening for a full time Commercial Operations Coordinator.
About us:
Liberator provides augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, accessories and services that support communication. Liberator is part of PRC-Saltillo, a global leader in voice output communication since 1966, with subsidiaries in Australia, the UK, Germany, Singapore, India, and Canada. Building personal connections with each other and with the people we support is central to Liberator’s values. As part of our fast-growing organisation, you will join a supportive, closeknit team working across Australia.
About the role:
We’re looking for an organised and approachable Commercial Operations Coordinator to support the smooth delivery of Liberator’s training programs and events, and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our wider Commercial Division at Liberator.
Working as part of the Commercial Division, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across training, marketing, projects and operations. Your role will be to keep the practical details organised, information up to date and everyone involved well supported for smooth operations.
The role would suit an experienced administrator, training and events coordinator, or executive assistant who enjoys planning ahead, building positive working relationships and seeing activities through from start to finish.
This role is both internal and customer facing, therefore we're seeking a person with excellent communication skills who enjoys problem solving, managing enquiries professionally, and ensuring the people they're interacting with feel heard and supported.
In this role you will:
Collaborate with the Training Manager to coordinate correspondence, bookings, logistics, and enquiries relating to training, conferences, and events run by Liberator
Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of Commercial Division processes and systems in collaboration with the wider team, using feedback to inform analysis
Coordinate, communicate, and deliver on a variety of administrative tasks as allocated by Commercial Division leadership, ensuring smooth Commercial Division operations
Work effectively in a busy team environment, while autonomously managing workflows and task prioritisation
Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, representing the values of Liberator in all interactions
About you:
You are organised, dependable and enjoy helping plans come together.
You communicate clearly and confidently with customers, suppliers and colleagues. You’re comfortable coordinating several activities at different stages and know how to prioritise, keep accurate records and follow through on agreed actions.
You enjoy solving practical problems, learning new systems and improving the way administrative tasks are organised. You also know when to ask questions, flag an issue or seek support.
Most importantly, you’re someone who takes pride in creating a smooth, welcoming and well-organised experience for others.
If you’re an experienced coordinator who enjoys helping training and events run smoothly, while coordinating team operations, we’d love to hear from you. This is a hybrid full-time role, requiring a minimum 3 days per week working from our leafy office in Sydney Olympic Park, with flexible work from home arrangements available 2 days per week.
Essential skills and experience:
Certificate III or IV in Business (Administration), or equivalent experience
3-5 years' experience in an administration, operations, coordination or similar role
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to independently manage multiple tasks, projects and competing priorities
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a willingness to take ownership
Desirable:
Experience coordinating training programs, conferences or events
Experience using event registration or ticketing platforms
Experience working with learning management systems (LMS)
Experience using CRM systems
Experience managing website content through a system such as WordPress
Experience in the disability, assistive technology, education or healthcare sectors
What we offer:
A meaningful role contributing directly to the lives of AAC communicators and their families
A supportive, values-driven team environment
Opportunities for career development and professional development
Well established positive team culture and access to EAP services
Competitive remuneration
