Experienced Conveyancer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our thriving team at AMT Conveyancing in Oak Park, Victoria. As a Conveyancer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating smooth property transactions for our clients, providing expert advice and ensuring all legal requirements are met. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and reviewing all necessary documentation for property purchases, sales and transfers

2. Conducting title searches and other property-related research

3. Liaising with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless transaction process

4. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations throughout the conveyancing process

5. Ensuring compliance with relevant property laws and regulations

6. Coordinating the settlement process and attending settlement meetings

7. Maintaining accurate records and files for all property transactions

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a conveyancing role, preferably within a legal or property services firm

2. Thorough understanding of property laws and regulations, including those specific to Victoria

3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients

5. Proficient in using conveyancing software and other relevant technology

6. Experience with conveyancing software platforms is required

7. A customer-focused approach and commitment to providing high-quality service

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

9. Australian work rights are required for this position

10. Certificate or Diploma level qualification is required
