Process Operator

You will join a mineral processing operation as a Process Operator, supporting the safe and efficient running of the processing plant for a short-term contract. You will work Monday to Friday locally in Townsville, with standard 8-hour days and the potential for 10-12-hour days depending on operational requirements.

You will contribute to day-to-day plant operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, housekeeping and efficient production. This is an opportunity to join a practical, hands-on operation where your plant operating and forklift capabilities will be valued.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor mineral processing plant equipment safely
• Complete material handling and processing activities as required
• Operate a forklift in line with site procedures
• Monitor plant performance and report issues or faults
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment

About you
• Previous experience in mineral processing or plant operations
• Current forklift ticket is essential
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable and comfortable working a Monday-Friday roster
• Willingness to work additional 10-12-hour days when required
