Omexom is hiring for our Urban Lighting team to help light-up communities across Metropolitan Melbourne and Victoria with safe and reliable street lighting.  If you are an experienced Lineworker looking for a permanent opportunity, and your interest lies in street lighting, we have an opportunity for you.

About the Role:

As a Lineworker, you will be responsible for the maintaining, upgrading and repairs to the Public Lighting Network across Victoria, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Installing new streetlights and replacing outdated ones with energy-efficient LED systems.

• Inspecting, servicing and repairing lighting infrastructure to ensure appropriate functionality.

• Replacing and/or upgrading faulty lanterns, wiring, and electrical components as required.

• Driving, operating, and working from elevated work platforms (EWP)

• Able to use hand tools and plant & equipment.

• Co-ordinating with suppliers to ensure safe work practises.

 What you will need:

• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in high-risk environments

• Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems - Distribution Overhead or Australian equivalent.

• Construction Industry White/Blue Card.

• High Risk Licences (Elevating Work Platform, Dogging and Rigging).

• Line Worker Registration (Orange Card)

• Current MR or HR Drivers Licence.

• Experience working on electrical networks.
