What you will need:

• Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems - Distribution Overhead or Australian equivalent.

• Construction Industry White Card.

• High Risk Licences (Elevating Work Platform, Dogging and Rigging).

• Line Worker Registration (Orange Card)

• A current MR or HR Drivers Licence.

• Current VESI Skills passport with up-to-date training is advantageous.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Attend pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up new meters and servicing existing meters to ensure accurate readings.

• Checking meters for faults, tampering, or inefficiencies to maintain system integrity.

• Addressing customer concerns, troubleshooting meter issues, and restoring service when required.

• Working with network operators, technicians, and customers to ensure seamless electrical servicing.

• Handling new connections, upgrades, and deactivations as needed.

• Communicating effectively with customers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
