Casual Wait Staff

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused casual wait staff to join our front-of-house team. As a key part of our service team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests feel welcomed, well looked after, and leave with a great impression of Yardbird.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a warm and professional manner

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently

• Deliver meals and drinks to tables with attention to presentation and timing

• Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism

• Manage dietary requirements and food allergy requests with care and accuracy

• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and dining space

• Process payments and operate the POS system

• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff

• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards

About you

• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Availability for weekend, evening, and public holiday shifts

• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification required or willingness to obtain

• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service

• Basic knowledge of wine is highly regarded
