About the Opportunity A very busy medical practice in the Gowrie area is currently needing more vocationally registered general practitioners to replace a retired full-time doctor and cater for increasing patient demand. The ideal candidate will be a VR GP who is comfortable with bulk billing and willing to bulk bill the vast majority of their patients as there is considerable demand for bulk billing from new and existing patients.

This position is open to part-time and full-time applicants as shifts are very flexible with no compulsory weekend or evening work.  Services available here include travel and childhood vaccinations, mental health, end of life care, workcover and pre-employment medicals, maternity care and skin cancer. Patients are seen on an appointment or walk-in basis with the support of a full-time practice nurse for chronic disease management, wound management and dressings etc.

Lump sum payments can be considered depending on the doctor's level of commitment and number of hours worked.   Essential Criteria: MBBS or equivalent

Must have a current and valid AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration FRACGP qualified Good team player
