About the Opportunity A mixed billing practice in the Palmerston area is currently needing more vocationally registered general practitioners to cater for increasing patient demand and cover for a doctor who is going on maternity leave. Shifts are very flexible with no compulsory weekend or evening work however, Wednesday is their busiest day so the incoming GP will ideally be available to work on Wednesdays.

Range of services offered here include vaccinations, pre-employment medicals, mental and physical rehabilitation, men and women's health issues, allergies, skin checks and chronic disease care plans. Patients are seen on an appointment or walk-in basis with the support of a full-time practice nurse whenever required. Sign-on incentives will also be considered depending on the number of hours worked and level of the doctor's commitment.
