The Role

The High Risk Team (HRT) Case Manager delivers specialist domestic and family violence (DFV) case management support to victim-survivors referred to the team. This role involves managing a high-risk caseload and providing safety planning, risk assessments, advocacy, and referrals. You will deliver emotional and practical support via face-to-face and phone-based contact, while collaborating with HRT core members and partner organisations to implement effective and innovative responses to reduce DFV in the Logan and/or Redlands communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Support and Case Management: Manage a caseload of high-risk DFV cases, providing safety planning, comprehensive risk assessments, advocacy, and referrals. Deliver direct emotional and practical support through in-person and phone-based contact.
• System Integration and Collaboration: Build strong interagency relationships to support effective service integration and continuous improvement in high-risk responses.
• Inclusion and Cultural Responsiveness: Deliver trauma-informed, culturally safe support to women from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, LGBTIQA+ people, and women living with disability. Community Engagement and Education: Support community education initiatives and participate in development activities aimed at increasing awareness of DFV and improving system responses.
• Professional Contribution: Maintain accurate records and data. Contribute to team discussions, supervision, and ongoing reflection to improve service delivery. Provide support and feedback to students on placement when required.

Salary and Benefits

• SCHADS Level 5.1 ($51.00 p/h) | Full-Time (38 Hours Per Week) | $93,860 annually
• Fixed term contract until January 2027
• Salary Packaging up to $15,900 (superannuation can be paid in addition to this, subject to any ATO limit if any).

Experience and Qualifications

Please note, roles above a SCHADS Level 4.1 require completed or working towards tertiary qualifications at a bachelors/undergraduate level or higher. Roles above a SCHADS Level 5.1 require completed tertiary qualifications at a bachelors/undergraduate level or higher.

• This role requires completed tertiary qualifications in human services, social work, psychology or similar.
• Experience in specialist DFV case management and working within multi-agency responses preferred.
• Safe & Together CORE training completion preferred.
• Technology Proficiency: Strong skills in using databases, MS Office 365, and communication tools relevant to intake processes. 
• Collaboration: Capacity to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and collaborative environment at CFWC and within the broader HRT multi-agency team.  
• Communication and Organisation: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and manage competing priorities, frameworks and stakeholder relationships in a professional and client-centred manner.  
• Technology Proficiency: Strong skills in using client management databases and MS Office 365 suite essential.

Potential Start Dates

This role is available to start on:

• 13th July
• 24th August

 

We have set start dates for new team members so that they can undertake our supportive induction process with our Practice and Development Lead. This process allows new team members to have set time to learn more about our organisation, our practice frameworks and set up all equipment and logins.
