About the role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced strategic leader to work at the centre of decision-making in the Water and Catchments Group. Based in the Office of the Deputy Secretary, the role leads a small, high-performing team responsible for coordinating strategic priorities, supporting whole-of-government processes, overseeing the Environmental Contribution program, and delivering high-profile projects with group-wide impact.
The successful candidate will provide trusted advice to senior executives, navigate complex policy and stakeholder environments, and help drive integrated outcomes across the Group and the department.
We are looking for a highly capable and collaborative leader with experience in water policy, strategy and executive support who enjoys working collaboratively, navigating complexity and delivering practical outcomes on issues of strategic importance.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available until 17 September 2027. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
