COOK IN DARWIN

We are a wholesale bakery and catering service supplying cafes and restaurants in Darwin and we are looking for a hardworking and passionate cook to join our team. To be successful in this role the applicant will need

· Strong organisation and problem solving skills.

· The ability to work independently + alongside co-workers.

· Be mature minded.

· Great attention to detail and a passion for consistency.

· Ability to comply with health and safety procedures.

Find the below duties of the position

• Quality and stock control of the food
• regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
• preparing and cooking food
• seasoning food during cooking
• portioning food, placing it on plates and in catering containers
• storing food in temperature controlled facilities
• preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
• may plan menus and estimate food requirements
• may train other kitchen staff and apprentices

This position is a full-time and for the long term.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
