Dispensary Technician

This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly, motivated and customer-focused Dispensary Technician to join our ever-growing business over the last 12 years. In this fast paced, multi-faceted role, you will be working within a team environment with our pharmacist and dispensary technicians. Looking for an immediate start.

About the business and the role

We are a compounding and retail pharmacy on Glen Huntly Rd, Caulfield in Metropolitan Melbourne (10km from CBD). We are extremely busy and our team has been growing fast over the last 12 years. 

We specialise in medicinal cannabis, hair loss, weight loss, skin care - as well as many other exciting fields of pharmacy.

You will be exposed to incredible and interesting parts of pharmacy that you may not find in mainstream retail pharmacy. You will feel valued and appreciated within our wonderful work environment.

• Immediate start available.

• Previous experience is preferred but not essential as specific training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working full time in our pharmacy, performing tasks such as: 

• answering phones queries

• answering emails

• customer service

• picking and packing of orders

• filing and general administration work

• providing customer service to our friendly customers

• processing payments and handling transactions

• assisting with e-Commerce activities

• providing valuable support to pharmacists and lab technicians

• assisting sales in beauty, health and well-being

• assisting sales in medical grade skin care 

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have: 

• excellent customer service skills

• excellent interpersonal skills

• a quick learner

• great time management skills 

• Australian residency

• enthusiastic

• a good team player

• great organisation skills

Pharmacy experience or compounding pharmacy experience is not required but preferred. 

We will provide adequate training required.
