Practice Assistant - Litigation / Restructuring (part-time: 3 days)

The role

We are looking for an experienced part-time (3 days) Practice Assistant to support 2 partners and a team of lawyers across our Disputes and Restructuring team, based in Brisbane. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Diary management, travel booking and event coordination
• Billing and expense coordination
• File management including opening and closing files, electronic and physical filing and scanning, management of correspondence
• Client relationship management and administration tasks; working with our
• Business Development team assisting with client material preparation
• Prepare and amend routine and non-routine documents, correspondence, and presentations
• Any ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar position either in a Personal Assistant or Legal Assistant capacity
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Experienced managing complex diaries and organising travel
• Able to work autonomously and draft basic correspondence and documents
• Previous experience in monthly billing using relevant financial software preferable
• Tech savvy with a good understanding of Microsoft Office
• Able and willing to use initiative to contribute to overall success of team
