Personal Support Worker - Cleveland and Surrounds

As a Personal Support Worker with Spinal Life Australia, you will do meaningful work that truly matters. You will be supporting people with spinal cord injuries to live fully and independently.
  
What you will do each shift:

• Support grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene
• Assist with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists as needed
• Provide personal care including toileting and bladder/bowel management
• Assist with basic wound care and self-medication
• Help with meal preparation, household duties and laundry

You will be a great fit if you:

• Are a genuine listener who communicates openly and honestly
• Can commit to a fixed fortnightly roster (flexible shift options available)
• Hold a current driver's licence and own a reliable vehicle
• Hold, or willing to obtain, a NDIS Workers Screening Card and Working with Children Card
• Bring relevant experience or qualifications, or committed and passionate to learn
