About the Role

As a Senior Heavy Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance across a wide range of trucks, trailers and buses while providing technical support and mentoring to apprentices and junior technicians.

You’ll play an important role in maintaining workshop productivity, quality standards and ensuring vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently.

About You

You’ll be an experienced technician who leads by example and enjoys sharing your knowledge with others.

You’ll have:

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (essential)
• Minimum 5 years’ post-trade experience working on heavy vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Extensive experience servicing, repairing and maintaining trucks, trailers and buses
• The ability to mentor apprentices and support junior technicians
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Current driver’s licence (HR licence advantageous)
• Full Australian working rights
• A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship
