The Role

As a Service Technician (Mechanic), you’ll be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing and testing a variety of hire equipment to ensure it is safe, clean, and ready for use. The role also involves diagnosing and correcting mechanical problems, working in the workshop and field, maintaining a small spare parts and workshop consumables stock, housekeeping, safety and record keeping.

What experience are we looking for?

• Servicing and repairing lifting chains, confide space equipment, hydraulic shoring, propping equipment & excavator attachments

• Diagnostic of hydraulic systems and diesel engines.

• Accurate completion of service records.

• Following safety procedures and supporting a positive team environment.

Qualifications and required experience

• Driver’s License.

• A mechanical, auto-electrical, hydraulic or associated trade (will be highly regarded).

• Recent experience working in equipment maintenance and repairs.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE use.
