We're looking for a motivated Service Technician to join our Townsville team. Whether you come from automotive, truck, agriculture, heavy vehicle, mining, mobile plant or another mechanical trade background, we'll provide the training, mentoring and support to help you develop your skills on industry-leading John Deere Construction & Forestry and Vermeer equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Service Technician, you will:

• Carry out diagnostics, repairs, servicing and maintenance on a range of heavy equipment

• Accurately record all work completed, including parts used and time taken

• Keep the workshop tidy and take care of tools, machines and equipment

• Work closely with the team and customers to identify service needs and provide solutions

• Follow all safety procedures and represent the company professionally on-site

• Deliver expert service and support to our customers and partners

• Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement

What We’re Look For someone who:

• Trade qualified as a Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or similar

• Keen to learn new equipment, systems and technology

• Interested in developing your skills across construction, forestry and earthmoving equipment

• A problem solver who enjoys diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues

• Customer focused with strong communication skills

• Safety conscious and committed to quality workmanship

• Valid driver’s licence and the right to work in Australia

This role requires specific certifications or licenses; we’ll request them later in the recruitment process.
