Talent & Training Specialist

About the Role

Kelsian Group is seeking a Talent & Training Specialist to join the Group People & Culture Team on a 12 month, fixed-term contract.

The Talent & Training Specialist is responsible for the design, delivery, evaluation and tracking of training across the Group, working in close partnership with the Change & Transformation team.

This role plays a key part in building organisational capability by creating engaging learning experiences, supporting talent and succession initiatives, and ensuring training programs align with business needs and the Group's Training & Development Strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality learning outcomes that support employee growth, leadership development and organisational change.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Design globally scalable training content, learning materials and resources that can be tailored to meet Business Unit requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records and perform administration activities in accordance with the Training Governance Framework.
• Support the delivery and facilitation of training programs in line with the Group Training Calendar.
• Apply adult learning principles, coaching techniques and facilitation best practices to maximise participant engagement and learning outcomes.
• Document training outcomes and monitor learning effectiveness in accordance with governance requirements.
• Gather, analyse and evaluate participant feedback to drive continuous improvement of learning programs.
• Use learning and training data to develop insights, reporting and recommendations for a variety of audiences.
• Source and manage external training providers and learning partners as required.
• Support talent mapping and succession planning activities across the Group.
• Assist with the analysis, reporting and tracking of talent and succession planning outcomes.
• Contribute to the successful implementation and adoption of the Workday Talent and Learning modules through training and change support activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve learning processes, enhance learner experiences and strengthen organisational capability.

About You

This role would suit an engaging and proactive learning professional who enjoys developing people, delivering impactful training programs and supporting organisational change. You will be comfortable working with a diverse range of stakeholders and using data-driven insights to enhance learning outcomes and talent initiatives.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience designing, developing and delivering training programs that achieve measurable business outcomes.
• Strong facilitation, coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to engage audiences at all levels of the organisation.
• Experience applying adult learning principles and best-practice training methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret learning, talent and training data and provide meaningful insights.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage and adapt to competing priorities, work autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience supporting leaders and teams through change initiatives.
• High levels of computer literacy and confidence working with learning and talent management systems.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience in training design, facilitation and learning program delivery in person, virtually and online.
• Demonstrated ability to positively support individuals and teams through organisational change.
• Experience within talent management, succession planning or workforce capability initiatives will be highly regarded.
• Exposure to Workday Learning and/or Talent modules will be advantageous.
