Collections Officer

Due to internal promotions, we have a number of roles in our collections team. As a Collections Officer, you’ll be on the front line connecting with vulnerable customers, helping them get back on track with their overdue accounts.

On a day-to-day basis you will

· Manage inbound & outbound calls, scheduling payment plans and the successful collection of outstanding and overdue debts

· Use your empathic nature and warm phone manner to understand and navigate the best outcome for each stakeholder while still getting the results

· Negotiate, problem-solve and, delivering great customer outcomes

To be successful

· You are a confident communicator, a team player with a friendly and positive demeanour

· You are tech savvy and can work within a variety of software platforms

· You understand process and the importance of following procedures

· You are willing to learn and keen to make your mark in the industry

· Previous exposure to call centre or customer service preferred.
