Meat Wrapper

Job Duties/Essential Functions
• Inspects and reassembles equipment sanitised previous night
• Reworks display case and rotates merchandise
• Takes large trays of packaged meat from large wheeled rack and places individual packages into automatic wrapping
machine
• Follows safety and security procedures
• Labels merchandise and puts wrapped and labelled merchandise in display case
• Operates meat grinder
• Follows proper department production procedures and standards for quality and consistency of finished merchandise
• Cleans and sanitises area throughout the day
• Performs duties to comply with health code
• Performs routine maintenance for machinery, equipment
• Follows Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all
equipment required by this position
• Completes and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all safety
training required by warehouse and Meat department
• Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary
• Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service to members, employees and vendors.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
• Commercial grinder, wheeled racks, wrapping machine and pressure washer.
