Electrician – Solar & Renewable Energy | $55–$70/hr + Vehicle & Fuel Card

About the role

Phased Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrician specialising in Solar & Renewable Energy to join our dynamic team in Perth, WA 6000. This is a full-time position offering an attractive remuneration package of $55–$70 per hour plus vehicle and fuel card benefits. In this role, you will be at the forefront of the renewable energy revolution, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic systems and other renewable energy solutions for both residential and commercial clients across the Perth region. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping businesses and homeowners transition to sustainable energy sources, making a tangible impact on reducing carbon footprints whilst building a rewarding career in a rapidly growing industry.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential, commercial, and industrial properties

• Perform electrical work in accordance with Australian electrical standards, including AS/NZS 3000 and relevant state regulations

• Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and rectify faults in solar and renewable energy installations

• Liaise with clients to understand their energy needs and provide technical advice on system design and performance

• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards

• Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance activities, and system performance data

• Comply with all health and safety legislation and site-specific safety requirements

• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met

• Stay current with emerging renewable energy technologies and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Current electrical licence (full licence preferred) with Australian qualifications or equivalent recognised credentials

• Proven experience installing and maintaining solar PV systems, with a minimum of 2–3 years in the renewable energy sector

• Sound knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and compliance with Australian electrical standards

• Competency in using diagnostic equipment and testing tools specific to solar installations

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the Perth region

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach

• Commitment to health and safety practices on all job sites

• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights when required

• Preferred: CEC (Clean Energy Council) accreditation or similar renewable energy certification

• Experience with battery storage systems, inverters, and monitoring software
