As our business continues to grow, we’re seeking a self-driven HD Mechanic to join our Naval Base workshop. This role suits someone who thrives in a small team environment and takes pride in owning end-to-end maintenance across a varied fleet.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Performing maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of plant and equipment, including:
  Cranes (20–350T), trucks, light vehicles, EWPs, scissor lifts, telehandlers, generators and more

• Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs efficiently

• Planning and prioritising daily maintenance tasks

• Working independently with a strong focus on safety and quality

• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records

About You

You will bring:

• Trade qualification as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience maintaining a wide range of plant and equipment

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems (preferred)

• Ability to work autonomously and manage your workload effectively

• Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset
