We're looking for a dedicated Early Childhood Educator/Teacher to join our longstanding team, supporting children through their years of life.

Adopting Circle of Security and PlaySpaces, you'll create a calm, inquiry-rich environment where children build life skills, confidence and a genuine love of learning - including weekly Beyond the Gate adventures to the beach and Learn to Swim sessions with Carlile Swimming at Harbord Diggers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ...

As the ideal candidate, you'll hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or higher), and be:

✓ Professional: you will ensure you always interact ethically and respectfully with peers, children and families

CHILD SAFE RECRUITMENT

Explore & Develop Freshwater is committed to the safety, wellbeing and empowerment of every child in our care. All successful applicants will be required to:

✓ Hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)

✓ Hold the national, mandatory Child Safe Training Certificate (GEKKO)

✓ Be willing to complete a Prohibited Persons Declaration form

✓ Participate in our child safe recruitment process, including verified reference checks and qualification verification

✓ Demonstrate an understanding of child protection and mandatory reporting obligations

✓ Uphold our Child Safe Code of Conduct and Child Safety & Wellbeing policies

✓ Participate in ongoing child safe training, supervision and professional development

In order to maintain consistency for the children, families and our team, this role is open to applicants with Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa that permits full-time work in Australia without restriction. Successful applicants may be asked to provide evidence of their right to work.
