The Role:

Fitness Passport is growing fast — and our Finance team is at the heart of the decisions that drive that growth. We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis function, working closely with our FP&A Manager and senior leadership to turn financial and commercial data into insights that shape the business.

This is a great opportunity for an analytically minded finance professional who wants genuine exposure to strategic decision-making, not just number-crunching. You’ll partner directly with the senior leadership team and get visibility across the full business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Running and maintaining our forecasting tools, monthly KPI reporting, keeping key data drivers accurate and up to date
• Supporting the annual budgeting and periodical reforecasting process — templates, data collection, and consolidation
• Monitoring business performance against financial goals, budget, and strategic objectives
• Preparing financial and commercial analysis to support decision-making by the Manager and Senior Leadership Team
• Analysing variances between actuals, budget, and forecast, and turning them into actionable recommendations for SLT and the exec team
• Partnering with business units to identify cost optimisation and revenue enhancement opportunities
• Contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for management and board review
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Business Development, Network Development, Operations, and Technology to assess performance and influence key initiatives
• Supporting long-term strategic planning alongside the FP&A Manager and Head of Finance

About You:

• Strong command of corporate finance tools, including advanced Excel skills for financial modelling. You build and maintain robust models that hold up under scrutiny.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Analytics, or a related field (or relevant corporate finance qualifications, e.g. CFA Level 2)
• Nice to have: some experience working with data — think efficient SQL queries, Python loops and abstractions, and good data practices.
• Commercial acumen — you connect the numbers to the business, spotting opportunities and risks others miss
• Data-driven insight — you turn raw data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence real decisions
• Stakeholder engagement — you build trust and influence across teams, from analysts to the exec table.
• Analytical rigour — sharp, structured problem-solving you can apply to any dataset or business question The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
