About the role
For over 25 years, Bravehearts Foundation has been a leading voice in child protection. The impact of our work drives us towards our Vision of a world where people, communities, and systems all work together to protect children from sexual abuse. We are dedicated to creating a brighter, safer future where children are free from sexual harm.
We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Company Secretary to join our Board and provide governance leadership that supports our mission and long-term impact.
This is an opportunity for a governance professional to contribute their expertise to a nationally recognised organisation while working alongside an engaged Board, Chief Executive Officer and executive team committed to protecting children and strengthening communities.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting directly to the Board Chair, the Company Secretary plays a critical role in supporting Board effectiveness, governance integrity and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
The role is remote and typically involves attendance at one Board meeting per month together with approximately 4 to 8 hours of governance support activities.

You are an experienced governance practitioner or professional from a legal, risk, company secretarial or corporate affairs background who values integrity, accountability and purpose, and is committed to helping organisations achieve meaningful and sustainable impact.
